i'm a photographer,

i'm an engineer,

nerd, learner,
and cat mom.
i've never been very good at staying in one lane.
i like learning how things work,
then finding new ways
to put them together.
i'll try almost anything.
except roller coasters.
At home, our family albums looked like this.
I started out shooting stills — a direct influence from my photographer father. That's where I learned to look before I learned to film.
Then came years as a cinematographer — commercials, features, TV series. That's where I understood a set from the inside: how each department talks to the other, how one decision about light or camera can shape the whole day of shooting. It's not knowledge you pick up from watching from the outside.
Today I direct, but I carry that technical eye with me. Film campaigns for Adidas, Vans, Nike, and Samsung put me exactly at that crossing point — stills and motion moving together, one set, one direction. That's the kind of project that demands running everything at once without losing sight of the whole.
That's the eye I bring to any project: someone who knows where to point the camera because she's stood behind it, and knows how to get an entire set moving in the same direction.

That nomination brought me to LA, where I began working with some of the brands I’d always dreamed of.
I love exploring techniques and formats. I love telling stories, finding solutions, collaborating, and being thrown into things I’ve never done before. Maybe it’s the engineer in me—I just assume I’ll figure it out.
